In order to protect social security and human rights, the Office formulated the Guidelines for Prosecutors Offices to Combat Organized Crimes. After approved by the Ministry of Justice, the Office set up a Supervisory Team whereas district prosecutors offices established the Task Force. The Task Force designated specialized prosecutors to investigate organized crimes and mainly focusing on high profiled cases involving public servants, violence, stock market gangsters, illegal debt collection, recruiting students to join organized groups, government procurement, and cross-strait or international crimes related to criminal organizations. The Guidelines have 7 focal points including regulation, issues checking, management, investigation, timely works, rewards, and propaganda.
