Strengthen functions of organization

  1. In order to supervise and coordinate the tasks for elimination of criminal syndicates, this Office established a "Supervisory Group Dedicated to Elimination of Criminal Syndicates" consisting of the Prosecutor General of this Office, Director General of the Bureau of Investigation, Director General of the National Police Agency, Commissioner of Criminal Investigation Bureau, Representative from Coast Guard Administration, Representative from Military Police Command, and chief prosecutors of prosecutors offices of high courts and their branches, which is dedicated to supervising and investigating criminal syndicates.  The Prosecutor General shall assume the position of convener, and Chief Secretary of the Supreme Prosecutors Office shall assume the position of Executive Secretary.  A number of head prosecutors and prosecutors of the Supreme Prosecutors Office will be appointed to assist in examination or implementation of the elimination of criminal syndicates.
  2. The district prosecutors offices throughout the nation also established taskforces dedicated to implementation of elimination of criminal syndicates consisting of a specific number of head prosecutors or prosecutors, prosecutor investigators and clerks designated by chief prosecutors of the offices, directors general of police departments in municipalities directly under the jurisdiction of the Central Government and in counties (cities) within the jurisdiction, chiefs of criminal investigation divisions of police departments, chiefs of investigation field offices, directors of investigation stations and directors of mobile taskforces.  Chief prosecutors shall assume the position of conveners, and head prosecutors or prosecutors shall assume the position of executive secretaries.
  3. Taskforces dedicated to implementation of elimination of criminal syndicates shall have a meeting every month to discuss the results of investigations, controlling and follow-up of criminal syndicates and preparing the minutes thereof.
