Answer: All court/prosecutors office bailiffs are judiciary personnel, prescribed under the Judiciary Personnel Management Act, hence they are different from the police officers that are appointed and ranked pursuant to the Police Personnel Management Act. A bailiff’s duties include service, investigation, arrest, arrest with a warrant, search, security, offender escorting, court vigil, safety and protection.
