According to statistics provided by district prosecutors offices pursuant to the National Project for the Construction of Incorruptible Government, promulgated by the Executive Yuan, and the Operative Norms of Prosecutors Offices for the Elimination of Corruption, promulgated by the Ministry of Justice, from July 2009 to the end of January  2019, district prosecutors offices had accepted corruption cases, in total, 8,167 cases:3,599 cases and 10,659 persons indicted, 4,827 persons convicted by final and binding judgments, so the conviction rate is 71.2 %.
