According to statistics provided by district prosecutors offices pursuant to the National Project for the Construction of Incorruptible Government, promulgated by the Executive Yuan, and the Operative Norms of Prosecutors Offices for the Elimination of Corruption, promulgated by the Ministry of Justice, from July 2009 to the end of April 2024, district prosecutors offices had accepted corruption cases, in total, 11,797 cases: 5,274 cases and 15,342 persons indicted, the conviction rate is 77.7 %.
